IMPORTANCE OF HR IN AN ORGANISATION
A company that lacks Human Resource SOPs may have difficulty developing and maintaining a solid relationship with employees. HR person bridges communication gaps between company management and employees and offers employees the opportunity to release their frustrations with the company and report wrongdoings.
There MIGHT be a good employee-employer relationship, where employees are less than 10 or so. Management or the promoter may have time to look after concerns of the employees on a day to day basis.
But the situation might be very different as the employee no. grows in an organization. Promoters/CEOs in absence of a proper HR person, have to devote their precious time for this activity or there might be a case where their valuable time mostly is consumed in solving problems of employees and other HR Operational issues.
As a result of employee frustration with the company or their jobs becoming dissatisfying, production or result can drop and company revenue may plunge. This sometimes get ignored too.
